Firstly, I would like to welcome you all to my very first blog. In the event of the famous WWDC’24 Conference, the upcoming blogs will be focussed on its updates. I have followed the entire 5-day event online to bring the latest news for you. So, let’s get started with the keynote itself.

VisionOS 2 is being released

The major updates i noted were →

• Spatial Photos have become more powerful that brings life and realism to our photos

• With the tap of a button, advanced ML derives both a left and right-eye view which brings a natural depth to the photos, looking spectacular on Vision Pro

• Hold your hand up and tap to open the Home View

• Or flip your hand over to bring up time and Battery level

• Tap again to open Control Center, giving you quick access to frequently used features

Mac virtual display could be very helpful for editors

• Volumetric APIs- allows even the most complex 3D apps to run side by side for the ultimate multitasking experience

• TabletopKit - makes possible for developers to quickly create apps that anchor to flat surfaces

• Enterprise API- enables powerful use cases like surgical training in healthcare, equipment maintenance in manufacturing and beyond.

Canon is offering a brand- new spatial lens for their popular EOS R7 digital camera

Apple Immersive Videos are 180°, 8K recordings with Spatial Audio that gives mind-blowing experience. It feels like you are there !
